a small doubt about her

[Mai Shiranui in KOF MI]

I have one question about Mai in KOF MI 1,in her original outfit (version 3,the orange with green),what symbols does she have in back ,i´ve seen them in her intro,when she is speaking with Hyena(When he says:"your oponents will be fighters you already meet or new challengers"),but i don´t know what kind of symbols she have (specially in back),can sobebody tell me what Symbol is it?

well i know its the mark she always had, but i don't know what it is. maybe its a shiranui ninja thingy. you know, like the kusanagi and the yagami's or terry's lone wolf mark. rock has it too.
